HELL LET LOOSE

OBJECTIVE:

SNO was asked to update the logo and brand identity for Hell Let Loose, a World War 2 first-person shooter game. The objective of the rebrand was to create a logo and mark that was recognizable, timeless, and modern, yet still relevant to the time period of the game.

OVERVIEW:

The new logo designed by SNO is more defined yet simplified with the strong vertical shapes being aligned and uninterrupted. The custom stenciled type in the new logo references spray-painted military labels as seen on tanks, signage, and other equipment during this historical period.

Direction

For the mark, the design team took inspiration from old military patches, seals, and lockups of the past and updated the original trident by placing a .50 cal bullet in the center of the symbol to drive home the FPS nature of the game.

SNO is proud of the new look for this thrilling game and will be sharing more design updates as the developers for Hell Let Loose continues to evolve and grow the game.
